Dana Crory, has been a resident of West Hartford all of her life. She has always been active, playing with her two brothers and neighbors. She has always had a passion for working with children. In middle school, she started a summer program for the young children in her neighborhood which eventually led her to receiving the Stars for Kids scholarship award from the Kiwanis Club in High School. Dana continued working with young children as a teacher in the Tiny Two’s program at Lollipop Tree Nursery School. Dana is still a favorite baby sitter in town and at a fitness facility where she is able to continue her active life style.
Dana has always enjoyed cooking and experimenting in the kitchen with her Dad. She studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University. During a break from school she gained valuable experience working in local restaurants as well as the Hartford Golf Club. She is currently continuing her education at Manchester Community College. She is enjoying being able to combine her love for cooking, a healthy lifestyle, and working with young children with the NAPL program.
